I have always enjoyed books. My family has a lot of books and I have built up my own collections over the years. Learning how to make a book from scratch opened a whole new world for me. It gives me great satisfaction in the process of cutting and folding paper, measuring, aligning, and sewing everything together, sometimes with a bit of drawing and painting. The bookbinding process keeps my mind active and moving.
