Since 1983, the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild (CBBAG) has been dedicated to supporting the growth and development of the book arts in Canada. These include bookbinding, artists’ books, papermaking, calligraphy, letterpress printing and typography, wood engraving, paper decorating, restoration, and conservation.

I attended a bookbinding workshop with CBBAG and came away with a memorable hands‑on experience, gaining a deeper love for the craft. The idea to redesign their logo and visual identity came to me while looking through their magazines. This personal project was a chance to explore the beauty of traditional bookbinding and bring its craftsmanship into a digital design context.
